Call Your Card (a/k/a "Getting to 'DING'")

    This is from ATS pages 27-28, and it is a good exercise to flex our psychic muscles for when we are shuffling the cards and need to know when we hear/feel the “ding” telling us to stop and to deal the chosen spread.

    So here’s what we’ll do:  The first person lists either a minor arcana suit (cups, swords, pentacles, or wands) or says “trump card”.  The next person shuffles, thinking of that suit/trumps and when thinks has the “ding” picks a card.  Right or wrong, the person tells the rest of us what card came out.

    If the person didn’t get the “right” card, the next person tries for the same, etc., etc. until someone is successful.  That person then chooses a different suit or trumps.

    SO, I’ll start:  First person up, pull a Cups card.
